Life goes on...

The snow is now melting some during the day giving me the first signs that winter will not be here forever. The cattle are calving meaning life on the farm is much more busy than a few weeks ago. The Logan competitive basketball has only one more game... we will have about a weeks break before the Sky View League starts so Livy's basketball season is about 2/3 over. Hyrum has started playing the the drums with some friends that play guitar, I have not had a chance to hear them yet but he is sure enjoying himself. I am in the process of trying to redo the entire visiting teaching in our ward... hoping to have it all figured out soon. All in all, life is going on and we are blessed.

Beautiful Cache Valley

I look out the window and I am amazed at how bright the sun is shinning... how blue the sky is... how beautiful the trees look all covered in frost! If I keep reminding myself how wonderful it all looks, perhaps I will forget how terribly cold it is! As I went out this morning to wheel out the garbage can (at 6:30) I hear the snow crunch under my feet-a sure sign it is cold. Then as I get out by the road... I hear the zing from the over head electric lines, they only sing like that when it gets really REALLY cold. By the time I get back to the house my nose is sticking shut when I breath in. I go to look at how cold it is... -16. I realize this is considered warm by some of you that live in artic temperatures... but its the first day in 2010 that we hit double digit negatives.. so ya IT'S COLD... but it is truly a beauty to behold!

I am so blest!

So at this time of year, as we do little things for those that are special in our lives... I feel so blest to know so many wonderful people! Those in my ward family, those I work with, those special friends and last but definately not the least... my amazing family members... both those I grew up with and those who have joined the family, my in-laws, and my children, their spouses and my adorable grandchildren! Why don't I take the time all year long to reflect and truely appreciate the people in my life! I love you all!

New Grandson

On friday, OCT 30th our new grandson arrived safe and sound and cute as ever! Baby and mom and dad and Paisley are all doing great! Introducing..... Cub JW Campbell!

First game

Yesterday we went to Marsh Valley for Olivia's first game with the 7th grade basketball team. The girls played great together and won 39-17. Here are a few pictures of Livy... ENJOY!
