Beautiful Cache Valley
I look out the window and I am amazed at how bright the sun is shinning... how blue the sky is... how beautiful the trees look all covered in frost! If I keep reminding myself how wonderful it all looks, perhaps I will forget how terribly cold it is! As I went out this morning to wheel out the garbage can (at 6:30) I hear the snow crunch under my feet-a sure sign it is cold. Then as I get out by the road... I hear the zing from the over head electric lines, they only sing like that when it gets really REALLY cold. By the time I get back to the house my nose is sticking shut when I breath in. I go to look at how cold it is... -16. I realize this is considered warm by some of you that live in artic temperatures... but its the first day in 2010 that we hit double digit negatives.. so ya IT'S COLD... but it is truly a beauty to behold!

Whew! Yes, I'd call that cold (and I thought our 8 degrees this morning was chilly!)
Very cute picture of your 5 grandkids all together!
Your description makes me home sick!!!!!!! Did you know that your nose doesn't freeze together like that in the midwest? I don't know if it's the humidity or what, but it just doesn't happen. I was mentioning it to a friend whose lived here all her life and it was a foreign concept to her.
Enjoy beautiful Cache Valley for me!!!
Love you Sis!
