Changes!

Well change is good, right???    of course it is!!!!     I can keep telling myself this and it will help, right???
Things have changed at church, I have been released as R.S. pres, and have accepted the calling of primary pianist. This should help me practice the piano more regularly! I have also missed being close to the children in our ward. Yet at the moment, I am feeling a bit lost! Not to worry, I will feel right at home in primary, after all, I have been gone less than 2 1/2 years, and I will still see many of the sisters in sacrament meeting, and in the halls, and in primary... right???

Wonderful conference!

Last August we got  a new stake presidency. I felt that warm burning that confirmed they were the right men for the job, but I only knew one of them. Yesterday was our next stake conference and I had been praying for the warm trusting that would help me feel close to them. Saturday night session was wonderful and as I left, I felt that wonderful respect and love. It was great! The Lord knows how to help us go from complete strangers, to loving and trusting our stake leaders!

Merry Christmas!!!

It has been a great season, I have not had the hustle and bustle because of the surgery, and have instead mainly been chillin in my chair. I have spent more time talking with my teen-agers, watched several Christmas movies, read a book and felt so much contentment!!! I think this is more like life should be. Too bad it took a gall stone to help me realize it! I hope you all have a very merry Christmas and a very happy new year!!! Love ya ALL!

I am thankful!!!

I have been waiting for something big and grand to blog about, but in my day to day life it all seems so un-interesting. I was trying to think of anything that anyone else might find worth reading and finally decided its been two months since I blogged, instead of delaying any further, I will simply say I have so many blessing, so many ways I see the Lords hand in my life, so many wonderful people that are a tremendous joy and example to me. Instead of looking for the ta-da and grand things, I need to notice all the small, simple and fantastic blessings that surround me!

New Grand daughter

Salena had her baby on Tuesday, 14th Sep. Tessa Ellen Russon, what a beautiful name and what a blessing she is. So glad she arrived safe. Mom and Tessa are both doing terrific! Its great seeing the dad side of Mitch, he is going to be a super daddy!
