I am thankful!!!

I have been waiting for something big and grand to blog about, but in my day to day life it all seems so un-interesting. I was trying to think of anything that anyone else might find worth reading and finally decided its been two months since I blogged, instead of delaying any further, I will simply say I have so many blessing, so many ways I see the Lords hand in my life, so many wonderful people that are a tremendous joy and example to me. Instead of looking for the ta-da and grand things, I need to notice all the small, simple and fantastic blessings that surround me!

Wow, the summer is offically over. My 13 and 18 year old started school this morning. New schedual (it starts 15 minutes earlier, and ends 45 minutes later), we also are going to a 4 day school week, so Fridays are off with the exception of the 4 times that monday is on a holiday, then school will go tuesday through friday.
It continues to amaze me how quickly the days fly, I keep thinking life will slow day a bit, but it never seems to.
We are very blest, we are healthy and employed, We have food and shelter, we have the gosple and many wonderful friends, neighbors and relatives.

Summer time is here

Well, life continues to speed by, with me not blogging to keep you all up! School is out! Memorial day has come and gone (it was great though we sure missed many of you). Chelsea is semi-moved to Pocatello. Syd graduated last week and now they can be together as a family except for the 3 days a week she is still working in Providence and living with us. Hyrum made the trip to Orlando with a friend and came back only partially burned. Livy is into softball season though thus far both games have been cancelled due to rain. I think we have had 2 days without rain since school got out. It was a whooping 45 degrees this morning with the wind gusting and the dark clouds looming overhead. First crop hay is getting old and it still is standing in the fields. I think we will end up chopping most of it... if we can get the swather over the fields without getting stuck in the mud. Justin helped us brand calves yesterday, what a trooper he is... all we do is ask and he is here, smiling, ready to help! Well that pretty well catches up the life on the farm in beautiful (if wet and cold) Idaho! Love you all!

Happiness

This past week-end my second daughter got married. Can I just say that there is little in life, that gives me more joy, than seeing my children happy. As I watched her standing there, her eyes glistening, with the joyful smile on her face, I had no doubt that she felt truely happy! The week-end was just lovely! She is married to a great guy, from a fantastic family, with so much family love and support... what more could a mother want!!! Love ya lots Chan and Jar!
